What a fun trip we had to Sea World last weekend!! It started with a visit to our friends the Stauffers who were camping down at Ft. Wilderness Campgrounds. We met up with them on Saturday night....to roast marshmallows and to make smores while watching the Little Mermaid (my boys weren't too excited about that!!). It was quite a trek to get to the campsite....trying to find their spot in the dark and not hit anyone that was walking around, but we managed. Then we unloaded and headed over to the campfire. It was a lot of fun....although we had some "moments'....like Joshua sitting on a roasted marshmallow and then trying to get it off of his pants....or me realizing that the entire sole of my shoe was coated with sticky marshmallow and rocks (lovely!!)...but all in all...we had a nice time.
We spent the night at a hotel so that we could all just relax and get up early to head over to Sea World. This was Hopey's first "overnighter" and she didn't do too bad....although by 11:30p she REALLY NEEDED TO GO TO SLEEP!!! Grandma & Grandpa sent us all money for christmas and we put that towards some yearly passes for us. Something that we had wanted to do last year, but with Hopey's arrival we thought we should put it off.
Anyway, off to Sea World!! We had a great time.....most of the park was as we remembered it 5 years ago.....but there were some new additions!! Nicole and Daddy loved riding Krackin'.....but Joshua didn't quite make the cut.....just a mere 2 inches too short!! so he's going to work on that before we go back :)!!
It was fun day and Hopey loved it all!! She totally pooped out on the way home!! can't wait to go back!!
