Happy Easter

We had a wonderful day celebrating our Risen Savior!! we started the day heading off to church....which was extra early since Michael was playing and Nicole was part of the Easter choir. Not too long after we get there....I find my boys with a "gift" from a friend out of their Easter baskets.....punching balloons!! Just what we need when worhsips about to start!! yikes!! run out to the car....back to start the service. All is going well.....worship is over then we sit down for announcements.....as soon as Michael get back to his seat...Hopey asks to go and sit with him. No problem....I hand her off....and about 5 minutes later he picks her up and puts her down on the floor noting some diaper leakage with two big spots right on the front of his thighs.....it wasn't TOO OBVIOUS on khaki pants!! Thankfully it didn't take that long to dry!! The rest of the service was great and Hopey finally fell asleep right at the end.

We came home, had a snack since we were having an early dinner.....then Jonathan comes running in to tell us there's a hugh snake in our garage!! Off went the Daddy to rescue us all from pending disaster :)!!! after some tense moments and a call to animal control....we found out it was not poisonous, but that we could just "direct" him out of our garage. This sounded easy, but the Daddy had already make him quite upset after trying to squash him....so Mr. Snake was not interest in looking anywhere else except at the Daddy...and watching his every move!! it took some time and effort but the Daddy succeeded in removing Mr. Snake from our garage!! Hopefully he found his way back home and will not return for a 2nd visit!!

We ended up with 24 for dinner and most of them were kids!! It was quite loud and crazy, but everyone had a wonderful time!!

So today we are cleaning and back to school.....all of the neighborhood kids are back in school after spring break...so we may actually get something done this week!!!
