This Saturday, Michael took the boys down to Sarasota on a field trip for school. There was an opportunity put on by this agricultural group for a fishing camp...so we signed them up. Outside of the 2 and a half hour drive to get there by 8:45am...it was incredible!! The first 100 kids that signed up got a free fishing pole and a tackle box filled with "stuff"!! they had several different lessons like fly-fishing and baiting and some others before getting out there and giving it a try. The company that put this on has a private lake that they stock full of fish for such events. The camp lasted about 2 hours and then they put on a big barbeque lunch for them...all FREE!! got to love that!! Then the trip back home...but they had a great time.....spent yesterday down at a little pond near our house trying out what they learned. This was definitely a "re-do" next year!!
