Yep...this was us....this past friday...Michael and I found a company that gives out free mulch if you want to come and pick it up....so considering the budget these days...it seemed like a great idea. Well, little did we know what a job this would be. Joshua and I spent about 3 hours raking all the old mulch out....shoveling it into wheelbarrows and then dumping it in the woods behind our house. Of couse Hopey was there to supervise :)!! That was tough enough....then Michael and the boys went to pick up the mulch...well, it had to be shoveled into the back of my minivan (can we say MESS MESS???!!!)...then brought it back home to dump into the beds. It sure looked like a lot when they pulled up into the driveway....but we barely had enough to cover the three beds in front of the house.....and finished just in time before it started to rain!! All in all is was a good project for the family...we all got quite a work out that day!!
