Well, we made it and are safely back home!! Our vacation started out in question when a earthquake hit Chile a week ago and caused what a tsumani to reach all the way to the Hawaiian islands. We left orlando and flew directly to Los Angeles. When we arrived we were still unsure at that point if they were going to allow flights into Maui or not. By the time our layover was done, we boarded the plane and the captain announced that it was all hype and that the tsumani never did materialize to the extend that they thought. So all went well. We spent a wonderful week hanging out poolside and roaming around the island. The only result from the tsumani were really high winds (note my hat...which didn't come off much the entire week) that never really died down until the day we left :). These are some pictures from our resort and a hike that we took along the coast line, as well as a trip to whale-watch on our way back to the aiport. It was a blessing to have uninterrupted time alone, but we were really glad to get back home to see our kiddos!! Now....back to normal (whatever that is??!!!).
