Yes, it's rare to have one, but here we were just hanging out on our stairway and Hopey was exclaiming, "My Daddy!!" and promptly gave him a big kiss!! This is not unusual for her, but it was just so darn cute, we had to take a picture!! Life has been a bit crazy....we are winding down the end of the school year (only 5 more weeks to go!!hopefully less!!) and we had to take our van in because the air conditioner was making such a horrible noise we just couldn't use it, which is not the best soluation when you live in Florida!! Anyway, they fixed the problem and we picked up the van this past Saturday. Hopey and I ran by two stores on our way home and then parked the van in the garage. The big kids had a youth meeting at church that night and I was taking them. We got in the van, started it up and now a "new" noise was happening....tried to ignore it....went down the street and promptly decided to return home when it didn't stop. Took the keys out and it kept running!! yikes!! called hubby and got everyone far away until it stopped. And when it did....IT DID!! it fried the battery and there was nothing else to be done. Since we had church the next morning and we had to be there....we called a tow truck to take the van back to our mechanic.....which left 6 of us to squeeze into our Daddy's car....including a car seat!! no easy task in a 4 door sedan!! but we managed and they were able to fix her back up again this morning. So it was a bit of a nutty weekend, but we are back on track this morning!!
I did take a few pictures from Jonathan's birthday...but that was just our family celebration....he wants to do something else...so more to come on that!!
