Yesterday, we took a much needed break as a family and just relaxed together. We started the day with some homemade pancakes and fruit...then off to the park to play some soccer and hang out at the playground. It was really hot and muggy outside so when we got home the kids immediately jumped on the trampoline for awhile and then headed into the pool!! After a quick cleanup...we were off to Italy!! well, sort of...we met up with our good friends and headed down to the Portofino Resort and had some wonderful pizza and sat out in the courtyard and listened to opera signing from up above on the balcony. It was a beautiful night and the kids had a great time. It was a welcome bread for our Daddy who works WAY TOO HARD!! can't wait to plan another one!!
