HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JOSHUA!!

On the Wekiva River

I can't believe he's finally hit the two-digit numbers!! Joshua was born 10 years ago today at about 3pm. It was a crazy day since I was totally expecting to have a girl!! We tried very hard to find out, but he did not cooperate...anyway, it was a wonderful surprise and we love him to death!!

Michael spent the day with him....they left early to head over to Wekiva Springs Park and rent a canoe. They had even thought about finishing but later changed their minds. Anyway, about 15 minutes into their trip out came a downpour, and I do mean a dounpour!! They were completely soaked from head to toe!! They took cover under a bridge under it let up...only to start out again and get doused all over again!! Despite the rain it was a lot of fun and they even came very close to a alligator!!

After drying off...they headed out to a place called Rebounderz..which is a giant trampoline place. You just spend the day "jumping"....and it's exhausting!! They jumped around for an hour and then play games in the arcade before heading out to dinner together. It was a full day!!

Then back home to put together a trampoline that we got him (his request :))the day before. It took about 2 hours but they finsihed and even got a little bouncing in before it got too dark.

Today is his actual birthday so we are celebrating with homemade lasagna and all the italian works to go along with it!! He requested I make him an ice cream cake...so that's on the desert list!! Should be a fun night!

Love you buddy!!

Jumping, Jumping, Jumping!!!
